Nothing special, just the same sorts of concerns that a person with a tongue piercing would have about the opposite end of their bar being swallowed, dropped down a drain, etc. It serves its purpose and cheers me with its visually pleasing form.

Here are the complaints: my particular ring was a disappointment because the “flecks” one finds in amber are almost non-existant in my ring — I count three flecks. The rest of the ring is clear and empty.

The amber I received it honey amber, it’s not dark like the picture suggests.

Lastly, the box was poor quality and I could see the glue running off the side.

HOWEVER, while I wasn’t happy with the flecks (the box isn’t a big deal to me, or the color), I wear this ring all the time because it really is beautiful! I think would give it 5 stars if not for the flecks.

I didn’t expect it to be quite as beloved as it has been, but my wife consistently gets comments for this sucker every time she wears it and I’m around her in public.

It looks exactly like the listing’s image. It’s very durable and bright.

Some of my wife’s pins are fragile or just have a cheapness to their look, but this pin is excellent.

Obviously, there’s no accounting for taste. If you like the way this pin looks in the listing, that’s what you’ll get. It’s a strong value and makes my wife happy.

overall, it looks great, a good accessory… but if you’re looking for a more long-term, worry-free ring… that you won’t have to check every so often if stones are missing… this is not for you.

The silver is much thinner than it appears in the picture – not the width of the band on the finger, which is substantial. But the thickness of the silver comprising the band. The CZs sparkle very nicely; but the marcasite is not a good match, the way it appears to match up in the picture. That is, the marcasite casts a rather disappointingly dull sheen, which does not contrast all that well against the more brilliant sparkle of the tiny little CZs.

All in all though, its the design of this ring that I love – that’s the only thing that kept me from returning it. Would have looked much nicer had it had another color of faceted stone imbedded in it instead of marcasite. But again, it was awfully tough to tell from the picture.

I rated these diamonds 4 stars for value and I would not hesitate to purchase diamonds from Amazon again.

The slightly smaller size of 1/3cttw may make these flaws less apparent. Your results may be hit-or-miss depending on your particular stones. Mine was more hit than miss, so I gave these pretty earrings to my wife. I also got a pair of the 1/2 cttw diamonds (very similar but more expensive): 14k White Gold, Round, Diamond Stud Earrings (1/2 cttw, J-K Color, I2-I3 Clarity) . That pair was dull and cloudy, as shown by shining a flashlight into the stones, so they were returned.

Amazon’s lenient return policy applies equally to jewelry, of course.

For me at least, these 1/3 cttw earrings worked well. Recommended.

I’m quite happy with it and would buy another one without hesitation. One possible caveat: It is not overlarge and if you have thicker than average wrists it might be a bit tight. It fits me well, but it’s not much looser than a metal watchband on me.
